About PumpCX

PumpCX was founded in 2013 to help organisations with automated, continuous testing and quality assurance systems for contact centres. Our origin moment was triggered watching a valuable customer struggle to execute their transformation project.   They needed to perform regression testing, load testing, and operate a large dynamic platform that is in a state of agile flux in a safe and secure way, their existing toolset did not enable this.

 

From the ground up we have built our test platform based on the mantra of being

“simpler, faster and better”

all the while recognising that one of the key roadblocks

from appropriate testing is cost, both financial and opportunity.

 

PumpCX provides reliable, flexible and scalable solutions to our largest banks, health insurers, utility companies, government agencies and global telcos.

 

Innovation

PumpCX’s quest for doing better with innovation in contact centre CX has evolved rapidly, utilising inclusive, smart customer feedback and our highly intelligent and flexible development team.

PumpCX was the first telephony testing platform to support coding test cases in Gherkin which lends itself to Business-Driven Design (BDD) and opens the customer to use the methodologies from BDD to ensure complete test coverage.

 

Simplicity

One of the keys to a testing system is that it must be simple and quick to create test cases.  If it not, engineers will just test manually. 

With PumpCX, creating a test case is just as quick and simple as manually dialling the IVR.  This means that new features in your environment are incorporated into the testing and monitoring immediately, as opposed to when an engineer has free time.

Our idea is that any customer who bought any of our tools could learn to use them in less than an hour. We created videos and a help desk, so our customers’ technical employees could simply follow our self-service system. This has enabled their development teams to become more agile.

 

Integration

We are the market leaders in integrating telephony platforms with CI/CD tools. 

Internally we integrated with build system prior to our original launch.  We have productized integrations with Bamboo, TeamCity, Jenkins and MX DevOps.  We integrate tightly with Atlassian (Jira, Bamboo and Confluence) and ServiceNow.  Our test cases are stored in GIT which can be synchronized with any GIT service.

 

Cloud Based

Our team was cloud based from the beginning, which was rare at the time. It gave us ideas and strategies that we’ve passed onto our customers in the form our cloud-based products and training.
